The Story of Ray

Ray came into being the moment a four-year-old girl with a very dried bee in her hand looked into my eyes and said, “I’m going to love this bee back to life.” This series was written to prepare her to face those who would take advantage of her essential goodness.  

 

Each of the stories has a deep theme of caring for the natural world and loving each other back to life. They are values-based and often include the teachings from local traditional wisdom keepers. 

 

Ray is neurodiverse, altruistic, empathetic and playful (well sometimes downright deceptive and mischievous). She is a storytelling misfit that is willing to speak truth to power.

 

No matter what age, we are each on a Quest. These books support the journeying, world-saving, compassionate side of us.
